Cafe Coutume, Paris

Now wouldn’t it have been great if all schools we are as colourful and inviting as this! You’d never go home :)

This design was created by Australian firm Smith & Trace

Ben’s Seasonal Billboard…

is a digital ‘billboard’ set up by an illustrator called Ben, as a self promotional tool…and I found my way to it, so it’s worked :) Have a look at

http://www.bensseasonalbillboard.com/ to see it in action, and also have a look at the rest of his work at http://www.bentheillustrator.com/

Skype offices, Stockholm

I really like Skype’s bright minimal office with splashes of solid colour. Not as quirky as some of the Google offices but I prefer this aesthetic…

Wordmark It

This clever little website loads all of the typefaces from your computer and displays them in a grid. Just hit load, then type any word and browse away…handy!

Saw this while browsing on Frame Magazine‘s website – A pop-up shoe stand in London’s Selfridge’s shop used simple building blocks to not only display shoes, but to invite visitors of all ages to play with the design. The brightly coloured blocks (10 cm by 10 cm) are loose, allowing guests to move them and create patterns. A total of 424 white squares were arranged in heights from 5 to 120 cm high. A simple but effective and fun shoe display!

A colleague stumbled upon these lovely products from Bodie & Fou whilst researching for an upcoming restaurant fit-out…Have a look at the distressed wood wallpaper too!

Professional book cover designer Kate designed this cover for her brother’s newest short story e-book, released this month on Amazon.

The Gourmet Tea cafe, Brazil

I like the raw simplicity of this space and the vibrant graphic colours that juxtapose against it.
